COMPARE THE PRODUCTS

Match the fluid to the machining process.

Cutting oil and water-miscible fluids have different use requirements. The choice starts with the operation, machine and material being worked. For diluted fluids, water conditions and the product mixing instructions also matter.

01

Cutting oil

Mineral oil-type product for gear and metal-part machining. Operation, material and machine lubrication requirement.

02

Emulsifiable oil

Multipurpose emulsifiable metalworking product. Water conditions, operation and product-specific dilution.

03

Synthetic fluid

Grinding and cutting fluid; A/B/C variant designations. Required variant, process and mixing instructions.

Questions about metalworking & cutting fluids.

Is one dilution ratio suitable for every product?

No. Request the mixing and use instructions for the exact product and operation.

What do the A, B and C variants mean?

They are listed as separate synthetic fluid designations. Please identify the operation and ask for the technical information for the proposed variant.

What should I send if I want to replace my current fluid?

Include its full name, machining process, material, water conditions and reason for changing. This helps keep the comparison specific.

Can I request a sample for a machining trial?

Send the product or fluid family, machining operation, workpiece material, trial quantity and destination. Sample availability and terms need to be confirmed for the proposed product. Use its own mixing and handling instructions for the trial.
