Questions about engine oils.

Can I include gasoline and diesel oils in one inquiry?

Yes. Separate the categories, viscosities and quantities so that each item can be quoted clearly.

Does an SL or CF-4 label mean the oil suits a current US vehicle?

The required category comes from the engine specification. Please check that requirement and include any OEM approval needed for the application.

What is needed for a gas engine oil inquiry?

Send the engine model, fuel and the required ash-related specification. Low-ash and medium-ash products are separate choices.

What should I include for each item on an engine oil list?

List the engine oil category and viscosity separately, then add the pack size and quantity. Include the vehicle or engine requirement and any separate approval your team needs to verify.
